Job Summary
Oversee ICU operations and nursing staff during assigned days and nights shifts. Manage staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments while supervising, mentoring, and supporting staff performance and development. Coordinate patient care, admissions, transfers, and discharges, and round with patients and families to support a positive patient experience. Provide direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing and quality outcomes, ensuring regulatory compliance. Monitor supplies, equipment, and unit readiness, and address patient care concerns by escalating issues through the appropriate chain of command. This 12-week assignment offers up to $2,067 gross weekly pay with a $3/hour differential, available at award-winning hospital partners in Lewiston, Maine.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
- Current ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
- Minimum of one year as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting, E.D. setting required
- Previous supervisory experience, one to two years, in acute care hospital, ICU setting, required
