Job Summary
Oversee ICU operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts, managing staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments. Supervise and mentor team performance while assisting with HR activities and monitoring unit readiness. Coordinate patient care flows, including admissions, transfers, and discharges, and round with patients and families to support care quality. Escalate patient concerns through the appropriate chain of command and provide direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing and regulatory compliance. This 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine, offers days and nights shifts with a weekly gross pay range up to $2,067 plus a $3/hour differential. Candidates must hold a current RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications with prior supervisory experience in an acute care or ICU setting.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
- Current ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
- Minimum of one year as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting, E.D. setting required
- Previous supervisory experience, one to two years, in acute care hospital, ICU setting, required
