Travel ICU Charge Nurse

Oversee ICU operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts, managing staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments while supervising, mentoring, and supporting staff performance. Coordinate patient care, admissions, transfers, and discharges, rounding with patients and families to support a positive experience. Monitor supplies, equipment, and unit readiness, addressing care concerns and escalating issues through the appropriate chain of command. Provide direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing and ensure regulatory compliance. Requires a current RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications, plus one year of acute care nursing experience with prior supervisory roles in an ICU setting. Available for 12-week assignments in Lewiston, Maine, with days and nights shifts.
