Job Summary
Oversee ICU operations, nursing staff, and patient assignments during assigned shifts. Manage staffing, scheduling, and unit readiness while supervising staff performance and development. Coordinate patient care, admissions, transfers, and discharges, rounding with patients and families to support care quality. Provide direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing and ensure regulatory compliance. Address patient concerns and escalate issues through the appropriate chain of command. Requires current RN license, BLS, ACLS, one year of acute care nursing experience, and one to two years of supervisory experience in an ICU setting.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
- Current ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
- Minimum of one year as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting, E.D. setting required
- Previous supervisory experience, one to two years, in acute care hospital, ICU setting, required
