Job Summary
Oversee ICU operations, nursing staff, and patient assignments during assigned shifts. Manage staffing, scheduling, and unit readiness while supervising staff performance and development. Coordinate patient care, admissions, transfers, and discharges; round with patients and families. Provide direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing and ensure regulatory compliance. Address patient care concerns and escalate issues through the appropriate chain of command. Requires a current RN license, one year of acute care experience with prior supervisory experience, and valid BLS and ACLS certifications. Available for 12-week assignments in Lewiston, Maine, with days and nights shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
- Current ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
- Minimum of one year as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting, E.D. setting required
- Previous supervisory experience, one to two years, in acute care hospital, ICU setting, required
