Job Summary
Oversee ICU operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts, managing staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments. Supervise and mentor team performance while assisting with HR activities and monitoring unit readiness. Coordinate patient care flows, including admissions, transfers, and discharges, while rounding with families to support the patient experience. Provide direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing and ensure regulatory compliance. Requires current RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications, plus one year of acute care nursing experience and one to two years of supervisory experience in an ICU setting.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
- Current ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
- Minimum of one year as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting, E.D. setting required
- Previous supervisory experience, one to two years, in acute care hospital, ICU setting, required
