Job Summary
Oversee ICU operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts, managing staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments. Supervise and mentor team performance while assisting with HR activities, and monitor supplies and equipment to ensure unit readiness. Coordinate patient care flows for admissions, transfers, and discharges, rounding with patients and families to support their experience. Provide direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing and ensure regulatory compliance. This 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine, offers up to $1,491–$2,067 gross weekly pay plus a $3/hour differential. Candidates must hold a current RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications, with one year of acute care nursing experience and one to two years of supervisory experience in an ICU setting.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
- Current ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
- Minimum of one year as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting, E.D. setting required
- Previous supervisory experience, one to two years, in acute care hospital, ICU setting, required
