Job Summary

Oversee ICU operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts, managing staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments while supervising performance and development. Coordinate patient care, admissions, transfers, and discharges, and round with patients and families to support a positive experience. Provide direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing and quality outcomes, ensuring regulatory compliance. Monitor supplies, equipment, and unit readiness, addressing patient care concerns and escalating issues through the appropriate chain of command. Requires a current RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications, plus one year of acute care nursing experience with one to two years of supervisory experience in an ICU setting. Available for 12-week assignments in Lewiston, Maine, with days and nights shifts, earning up to $2,067 gross per week including a $3/hour differential.

Required Qualifications

  • Current and valid state RN License
  • Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
  • Current ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
  • Minimum of one year as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting, E.D. setting required
  • Previous supervisory experience, one to two years, in acute care hospital, ICU setting, required
