Job Summary
Oversee ICU operations, nursing staff, and patient assignments during assigned shifts. Manage staffing, scheduling, and patient flow while supervising staff performance and development. Monitor supplies, equipment, and unit readiness; coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges. Round with patients and families to support care, providing direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing and quality outcomes. Ensure regulatory compliance and address patient care concerns through the appropriate chain of command. Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
- Current ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
- Minimum of one year as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting, E.D. setting required
- Previous supervisory experience, one to two years, in acute care hospital, ICU setting, required
