Job Summary
Oversee ICU operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts, managing staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments. Supervise and mentor team performance while assisting with HR activities, and monitor supplies and equipment readiness. Coordinate patient care, admissions, transfers, and discharges, rounding with patients and families to support a positive experience. Provide direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing and ensure regulatory compliance. Requires current RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications, plus one year of acute care experience with one to two years of supervisory background in an ICU or ED setting.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
- Current ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
- Minimum of one year as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting, E.D. setting required
- Previous supervisory experience, one to two years, in acute care hospital, ICU setting, required
