Job Summary
Supervise and support nursing staff during shifts, ensuring efficient patient care and adherence to hospital policies. Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges to maintain optimal flow, while adjusting staffing levels based on acuity and census. Respond to emergencies with leadership during critical situations, ensuring safety and compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with department leaders to address operational needs and participate in quality assurance initiatives. Serve as a resource for staff, patients, and families to resolve conflicts professionally. Lead emergency preparedness efforts and utilize electronic health records for accurate documentation. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an RN House Supervisor
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary)
- Must be able to present a positive attitude and professionalism
- Must have the ability to grasp
- Must have the ability to perform fine manipulation
- Must have the ability to push/pull
- Must have the ability to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers

- Must be able to work without assistance from other personnel
- Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally
- Must be able to maintain continuous concentration to detail
- Must possess visual acuity

- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
