Job Summary
Supervise nursing staff during shifts to ensure efficient patient care, adherence to policies, and optimal patient flow through coordinating admissions, transfers, and discharges. Monitor staffing levels based on patient acuity and census, respond to emergencies with leadership during critical situations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address operational needs. Serve as a resource for staff, patients, and families to resolve conflicts, participate in quality assurance initiatives, and lead emergency preparedness efforts. Utilize electronic health records for documentation and incident reporting. One year of recent experience as an RN House Supervisor is required, along with a valid RN license and current BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an RN House Supervisor
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
