Job Summary
Hospice RN travel assignment: provide compassionate end-of-life care and coordinate individualized hospice plans in patients' homes or hospice settings. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing care plans with physicians and care teams, administering pain management and medications, educating families, monitoring patient condition, coordinating with hospice team members, documenting care and ensuring regulatory adherence, and delivering emotional support to patients and families. Requires active RN license, BLS, and at least one year of RN experience with hospice exposure; travel assignment emphasizes high-quality, holistic hospice care and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an RN, including a minimum of six months in a hospice setting as an RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
