Job Summary
Hospice RN travel assignment in California (13 weeks) providing end-of-life care in homes or hospice settings. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing individualized hospice care plans with physicians and care teams, administering pain management interventions, educating families on symptom management and end-of-life care, coordinating care with hospice physicians, social workers, and chaplains, documenting all care and ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining infection control and safety standards. Requires RN experience with hospice exposure and a valid BLS certification; strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within an interdisciplinary team are essential.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an RN, including a minimum of six months in a hospice setting as an RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
