Job Summary
Hospice RN on a 13-week travel assignment in Wethersfield, CT. Provides end-of-life care with focus on comfort, pain management, and emotional support; assess patient needs, develop care plans with physicians and care teams, educate families, and coordinate with interdisciplinary hospice staff. Administers treatments to ensure patient comfort, documents care and regulatory-compliant activities, and maintains infection control and safety protocols. Requires strong communication, critical thinking, English proficiency, and ability to travel as part of a travel nursing assignment.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an RN, including a minimum of six months in a hospice setting as an RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
