Job Summary
Travel Hospice RN provides compassionate end-of-life care to patients in homes or hospice settings. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing individualized hospice care plans with physicians and care teams, administering pain management interventions, educating and supporting families, coordinating care with hospice team members, documenting care and ensuring compliance with hospice regulations, and meeting visit/productivity goals. Requires an RN license, BLS certification, and at least one year of RN experience with hospice exposure; 13-week travel assignment in Oklahoma City, OK. The role emphasizes patient comfort, symptom management, family education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and adherence to regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an RN, including a minimum of six months in a hospice setting as an RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
