Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop individualized hospice care plans, and administer pain management interventions to ensure comfort. Educate families on symptom management, monitor patient conditions, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians and social workers. Document all care, adjust interventions for quality of life, and adhere to infection control and regulatory standards while meeting visit goals. Provide emotional support to patients and loved ones during the end-of-life journey.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an RN
- minimum of six months in a hospice setting as an RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Critical thinking

- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
