Job Summary
Travel Home Health Speech Language Pathologist to assess and treat communication and swallowing disorders in patient homes; primary duties include dysphagia assessment and treatment, documentation for home health agencies, and independent work in patients' homes during a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week (days). Requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, CFY and CCC from ASHA, active Ohio license or eligibility, and BLS; travel contracts offer housing and relocation assistance and include benefits. Location: Cincinnati, OH; Assignment type: travel/contract.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active Ohio state license or eligibility to obtain Ohio state license prior to assignment start
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Experience providing speech-language pathology services in a home health environment is preferred
- Experience with dysphagia assessment and treatment, documentation for home health agencies, and working independently in patient homes is preferred
