Job Summary
Assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritize care based on severity, and administer prescribed medications per emergency protocols. Monitor vital signs, document comprehensive assessments in electronic medical records, and respond to life-saving situations using established nursing standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians and specialists to ensure efficient, patient-centered care while adhering to infection control and safety guidelines. This 13-week travel assignment in Circle, Montana requires current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ER RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary)
- Must be able to present a positive attitude and professionalism
- Must have the ability to grasp
