Job Summary
Assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritize care based on severity, and administer prescribed medications in accordance with emergency protocols. Explain procedures to patients and families, monitor vital signs to address deviations, and document comprehensive assessments in electronic medical records. Respond to life-saving situations, prepare equipment for physicians, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including specialists and social workers. Maintain patient safety and comfort while adhering to infection control guidelines and regulatory standards. Requires one year of ER experience, valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. 13-week travel assignment in West Point, Nebraska with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ER RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification
- Critical thinking
