Job Summary
Assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on condition severity. Administer prescribed medications and treatments per approved protocols while preparing equipment for physician examinations. Monitor vital signs, document comprehensive assessments in electronic medical records, and respond to life-saving situations per emergency nursing standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, specialists, and social workers to ensure comprehensive patient-centered care. Requires one year of ER RN experience, valid state license, and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. This 12-week travel assignment places the nurse in Woodward, Oklahoma.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ER RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification
- Critical thinking
- Service excellence
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
