Job Summary
Assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on condition severity. Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved protocols while monitoring vital signs and patient comfort. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians and specialists to ensure comprehensive care in critical situations. Document comprehensive nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records. Respond to life-saving situations based on emergency nursing standards and policies. This 13-week travel assignment places you in a facility in Joplin, Missouri, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ER RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification
- Critical thinking
