Job Summary
Assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritize care based on severity, and administer prescribed medications in accordance with emergency protocols. Monitor vital signs, document comprehensive assessments in electronic medical records, and respond to life-saving situations using established nursing standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians and specialists to ensure efficient, patient-centered care while adhering to infection control guidelines. This 13-week travel assignment in Neptune, New Jersey requires recent ER experience, valid licensure, and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ER RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification
- Critical thinking
- Service excellence
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
