Job Summary
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) delivers rapid-response, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. This 13-week travel assignment requires assessing patient conditions, implementing urgent care plans, administering life-saving treatments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, efficient, patient-centered care in critical situations. Strong clinical skills, rapid decision-making, excellent communication under pressure, and commitment to patient safety and professional ethics are essential. The role emphasizes rapid triage, patient and family education, medication administration, assisting physicians, documentation in EMR, and coordination with physicians, specialists, paramedics, social workers, and support staff. Essential skills include critical thinking, interpersonal communication, English literacy, PC proficiency, and the ability to work effectively within a healthcare team; physical requirements include handling equipment, mobility, and manual dexterity. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ER RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification
