Job Summary
Assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritize care based on severity, and administer prescribed medications and treatments. Monitor vital signs, document comprehensive nursing assessments in electronic medical records, and respond to life-saving situations per emergency protocols. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians and specialists to ensure comprehensive care while adhering to infection control and safety guidelines. This 13-week travel assignment in Cut Bank, Montana requires current ER RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ER RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification
- Critical thinking
- Service excellence
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
