Job Summary
Assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritize care based on severity, and administer prescribed medications according to emergency protocols. Monitor vital signs, document comprehensive assessments in electronic medical records, and respond to life-saving situations while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams including physicians and specialists. Explain emergency procedures to patients and families, prepare equipment for physicians, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout their stay. Adhere to infection control guidelines and regulatory standards while maintaining critical thinking under pressure. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ER RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification
- Critical thinking
- Service excellence
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
