Travel ER RN

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) will rapidly assess and triage patients on arrival, implement urgent care plans, administer prescribed medications, and assist physicians during emergency treatments. Responsibilities include preparing equipment, monitoring patient conditions, documenting nursing assessments and outcomes in EMR, providing patient education, and collaborating with physicians, specialists, paramedics, social workers, and other staff to ensure high-quality, safe emergency care in a fast-paced department. Required skills include critical thinking, strong communication, ability to work with diverse teams, and proficiency in English; physical endurance to assist with procedures and patient movement; and adherence to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards. Essential qualifications emphasize ER nursing experience and current RN licensure with BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC certification; plus preferred certifications such as TNCC, NIHSS, CPI, NRP, and SANE.
