Job Summary
Travel ER RN responsible for rapid assessment, triage, and urgent care in a fast-paced emergency department. Administer prescribed medications and treatments, assist physicians during emergency procedures, prepare equipment, document patient conditions and outcomes in EMR, and educate patients and families. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care, adhere to infection control and safety protocols, and support regulatory standards while delivering timely, life-saving interventions in a 3-week travel assignment. Requires one year ER RN experience, active RN license, and BLS/ACLS; PALS or ENPC preferred; additional certifications such as TNCC, NIHSS, CPI, NRP, and SANE may be required.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent ER RN experience
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification
