Job Summary
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) delivers rapid-response, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting while on a 13-week travel assignment in Iola, KS. Responsibilities include rapidly assessing and triaging patients, explaining emergency procedures to patients and families, administering prescribed medications and treatments, preparing equipment and assisting physicians, monitoring patient comfort and safety, documenting assessments and interventions in EMR, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ER RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification
