Job Summary
Assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity. Administer prescribed medications and treatments per approved emergency protocols while monitoring vital signs and patient comfort. Respond to life-saving situations using emergency nursing standards, document comprehensive assessments in electronic medical records, and initiate individualized patient education plans. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, specialists, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care. This 13-week travel assignment in Augusta, Georgia requires a skilled ER RN with one year of recent experience, valid state license, and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ER RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification
- Critical thinking
- Service excellence
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
