Job Summary
Assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritize care based on severity, and administer prescribed medications per emergency protocols. Monitor vital signs, document comprehensive assessments in electronic medical records, and respond to life-saving situations using established nursing standards. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to ensure efficient, patient-centered care while adhering to infection control and safety guidelines. Requires current ER RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with one year of recent ER experience. Includes competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and 13-week travel assignment in Pulaski, Virginia.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ER RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification
- Critical thinking
