Job Summary
Assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on condition severity. Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved emergency protocols, while monitoring vital signs and patient comfort. Document comprehensive assessments and interventions in electronic medical records. Respond to life-saving situations and prepare equipment for physicians during emergency treatments. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, specialists, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care. This 13-week travel assignment in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, requires one year of recent ER RN experience and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ER RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification
- Critical thinking
