Job Summary
Assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritize care based on severity, and administer prescribed medications according to emergency protocols. Monitor vital signs, respond to life-saving situations, and document comprehensive assessments in electronic medical records. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians and specialists to ensure efficient, patient-centered care in critical situations. Maintain patient comfort and safety throughout the shift while adhering to infection control guidelines and regulatory standards. This 13-week travel assignment in Glendale, Arizona requires recent ER RN experience and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ER RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification
- Critical thinking
