Job Summary
Assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritize care based on severity, and administer prescribed medications according to emergency protocols. Explain procedures to patients and families, monitor vital signs, and document comprehensive assessments in electronic medical records. Respond to life-saving situations, prepare equipment for physicians, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, specialists, and social workers. Maintain patient comfort and safety while adhering to infection control guidelines and regulatory standards. Requires one year of ER experience, valid RN license, and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. 13-week travel assignment in Rock Island, Illinois.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ER RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification
- Critical thinking

- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
