Travel ER Nurses Needed ASAP

Job Summary
Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity. Administer prescribed medications and treatments, prepare equipment for physicians, and monitor patient comfort and safety throughout the emergency department. Respond to life-saving situations per emergency nursing standards, document comprehensive assessments in electronic medical records, and initiate patient education plans. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, specialists, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care. This 13-week travel assignment requires one year of recent ER experience, a valid RN license, and the ability to work under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ER RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must have the ability to grasp
- Must have the ability to perform fine manipulation
- Must have the ability to push/pull
- Must have the ability to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers
- Must be able to meet deadlines under pressure
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally
- Must be able to work without assistance from other personnel
- Must possess visual acuity
- Must be able to effectively communicate
- Must be able to read
- Must be able to write
- Must be able to communicate in the English language
- Must be able to travel to Alexandria, Virginia
- Must be available for a 13-week assignment
