Job Summary
Travel ER RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Skowhegan, ME. Delivers rapid-response, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department; triages and assesses patients, administers life-saving treatments, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams. Documents nursing assessments and outcomes in EMR; adheres to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards; supports education for patients and families.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- One year of recent ER RN experience
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Physical abilities to remain stationary, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend
- Experience delivering rapid-response, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting
- Ability to administer medications and treatments per established emergency nursing techniques and protocols
- Experience documenting comprehensive nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR
- Strong teamwork with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and ability to collaborate with physicians, paramedics, social workers, and support staff
- Adherence to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards
- Ability to read, interpret, and communicate effectively under pressure
