Job Summary
Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity. Administer prescribed medications and treatments while explaining emergency procedures to patients and families. Monitor patient comfort and safety, responding to immediate needs and life-saving situations per nursing standards. Document comprehensive assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, specialists, and social workers to ensure comprehensive care. Adhere to hospital safety protocols and infection control guidelines. Requires one year of recent ER experience, valid state RN license, and ability to work under pressure. 13-week travel assignment in Ellensburg, Washington with highly competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ER RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push, pull, and bend
- Must have the ability to grasp
- Must have the ability to perform fine manipulation
- Must have the ability to push/pull
- Must have the ability to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers
- Must be able to meet deadlines under pressure
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally
- Must be able to work without assistance from other personnel
- Must possess visual acuity
- Must be able to effectively communicate
