Job Summary
Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity. Administer prescribed medications and treatments, prepare equipment for physicians, and monitor patient comfort and safety throughout their emergency department stay. Respond to life-saving situations per nursing standards, document comprehensive assessments in electronic medical records, and initiate individualized patient education plans. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, specialists, and social workers to ensure comprehensive care. This 12-week travel assignment in Conyers, Georgia requires one year of recent ER RN experience and a valid state license. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ER RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel
- Must possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend
- Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
