Job Summary
Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity. Administer prescribed medications and treatments per approved protocols while preparing equipment for physicians. Monitor patient comfort and safety, responding to immediate needs and life-saving situations. Document comprehensive assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records. Initiate patient education plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, specialists, and social workers. Adhere to hospital safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ER RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must have the ability to grasp
- Must have the ability to perform fine manipulation
- Must have the ability to push/pull
- Must have the ability to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers
- Must be able to meet deadlines under pressure
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally
- Must be able to work without assistance from other personnel
- Must possess visual acuity
- Must be able to effectively communicate
- Must be able to read
- Must be able to write
- Must be able to communicate in the English language
- Must be able to travel to Tulsa, Oklahoma
- Must be available for a 13-week assignment
