Job Summary
Rapidly assess, triage, and document patient conditions in a fast-paced emergency department while administering urgent treatments and medications. Explain emergency procedures to patients and families, prepare equipment for physicians, and respond to life-saving situations based on established protocols. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, specialists, and social workers to ensure comprehensive care, while adhering to strict infection control and safety guidelines. Requires one year of recent ER experience, a valid state license, and the ability to work under pressure. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ER RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend
- Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel
- Must possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
- Must be able to travel to Janesville, Wisconsin for a 13-week assignment
