Job Summary
Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity. Administer prescribed medications, explain emergency procedures to patients and families, and prepare equipment for physicians during treatments. Monitor patient comfort and safety while documenting comprehensive assessments and interventions in electronic medical records. Respond to life-saving situations, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and adhere to hospital safety protocols and infection control guidelines. This 13-week travel assignment in San Tan Valley, Arizona, requires one year of recent ER experience and a valid state RN license. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ER RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend
- Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel
- Must possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
- Must be able to travel to San Tan Valley, Arizona for a 13-week assignment
