Job Summary
Rapidly assess, triage, and treat emergency patients by administering treatments, preparing equipment for physicians, and monitoring safety. Explain procedures to families, document assessments in EMRs, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including specialists and social workers. Respond to life-saving situations while adhering to infection control and hospital protocols. Requires one year of recent ER experience, valid RN license, and ability to work under pressure with occasional close supervision. Includes comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance with first-day coverage, life and short-term disability, and reimbursement for licensure and CEUs.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ER RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend
- Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel
- Must possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
