• •One year of recent experience as an ER RN
• •Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• •The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
• •Must be able to remain in a stationary position

• •Must have the ability to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
• •Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure
• •Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally
• •Must be able to work without assistance from other personnel
• •Must possess visual acuity
• •Must be able to effectively communicate
• •Must be able to work in a fast-paced emergency department setting
• •Must be able to assess patient conditions
• •Must be able to implement urgent care plans
• •Must be able to administer life-saving treatments
• •Must be able to collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• •Must demonstrate strong clinical skills
• •Must demonstrate exceptional critical thinking abilities
• •Must demonstrate excellent communication under pressure
• •Must be committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and professional ethics
• •Must be able to rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival
• •Must be able to prioritize care based on the severity of their condition
• •Must be able to explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families
• •Must be able to administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved emergency nursing techniques and protocols
• •Must be able to prepare equipment and aid physicians during emergency treatments and examinations
• •Must be able to monitor patient comfort and safety throughout their time in the emergency department
• •Must be able to respond to immediate needs
• •Must be able to observe and document patient conditions as required within scope of practice
• •Must be able to respond to life-saving situations based upon emergency nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocols
• •Must be able to document comprehensive nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records (EMR)
• •Must be able to initiate patient education plans according to individualized needs
• •Must be able to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, specialists, paramedics, social workers and other support staff
• •Must be able to adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards
• •Must be able to work in Henderson, North Carolina
• •Must be available for a 13-week travel assignment
