Job Summary
Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity. Administer prescribed medications and treatments while explaining emergency procedures to patients and families. Monitor patient comfort and safety, responding to immediate needs and life-saving situations according to nursing standards. Document comprehensive assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, specialists, and paramedics to ensure comprehensive care. This 13-week travel assignment is located in Susanville, California. The role requires one year of recent ER RN experience and a valid state RN license. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ER RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel
- Must possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
