Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for electrophysiology lab patients and document findings accurately. Educate patients and families on procedures, expectations, and post-procedure care to ensure informed consent. Assist physicians with electrophysiology studies, ablations, and device implantations while administering medications and conscious sedation per orders. Monitor cardiac rhythms, hemodynamics, and patient responses throughout procedures, identifying and responding to condition changes as needed. Maintain sterile technique, prepare equipment, and provide immediate post-procedure care to ensure stable recovery. Adhere to safety protocols and infection control guidelines while collaborating with the care team to implement treatment plans. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice.
Required Qualifications
- One year's recent experience as an Electrophysiology Lab RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) Certification
- Current ACLS Certification
- Critical thinking
- Service excellence
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position

Desired Qualifications
