Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosing and treating endocrinology-related conditions (diabetes, thyroid disorders, hormone-related issues), ordering/interpreting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, and coordinating care with a healthcare team. Requires a Master's degree in Nursing, active NP/PA/MD license, DEA license, CPR/BLS certification, and at least 6 months in long-term care; travel to multiple facilities within the state is required. Competitive salary range of $150,000-$200,000 plus benefits; 5-day workweek; 100% on-site travel with flexible scheduling and strong organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license
- DEA License
- CPR BCLS/BLS certification
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Graduation from accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Experience in endocrinology or relevant field
- Willingness to travel to multiple nursing homes within PA (100% travel)
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 20 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
