Job Summary
ER RN responsibilities include recording present symptomology and patient history, and assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in coordination with the healthcare team. Duties include managing care for patients with life-threatening problems and performing triage, assisting physicians with exams, diagnostic testing, and treatments, and preparing, administering, and documenting prescribed medications. Shift: 3x12 Nights.
Required Qualifications
- ER RN
- registered nurse in good standing
- baccalaureate or associate degree in nursing preferred
- current RN license
- basic life support (BLS) certification
- advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) certification
- pediatric advanced life support (PALS) or willingness to obtain
- minimum clinical experience in emergency or acute care
