Emergency Room RNs (ER RNs) record present symptomology and patient history, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in coordination with other healthcare team members. ER RN responsibilities include managing care of patients with life-threatening problems and performing triage interventions, working with physicians to assist in exams, diagnostic testing, and treatments, and preparing, administering, and recording prescribed medications.
