Job Summary
Manage care of patients experiencing life-threatening problems and perform triage interventions. Record present symptomology and collect thorough patient histories. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in coordination with the healthcare team. Work with physicians to assist in exams, diagnostic testing, and treatments. Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications. This 3x12 day shift role supports the Des Moines emergency department team.
