Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, reassess patient conditions, and document findings per the patient plan of care. Establish and evaluate care plans incorporating evidence-based practices, physician orders, and protocols while administering medications and managing IV fluids. Provide specialized care for high-risk patients, including restraint alternatives and pain management strategies, ensuring infection control and safety standards. Collaborate with the health team, coordinate handoffs, and educate patients and families on discharge needs. Report variations in care, participate in performance improvement activities, and supervise students or new staff as required.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed to work as an RN in the state of Missouri
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
- Registered Nurse (RN) Issued by Compact State
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN)
